otherwise, I'm gonna have to ask you to book report each one! :-)

It's a twin bed?

  • it's not a meme;
  • they're all good books and/or plays (boeing-boeing, for all its current success on broadway, is horribly dated);
  • it's not a twin bed.

    . Ok. Just checking.
    . I'm gonna revisit boeing boeing because of you. What about 3 changes that's getting a beating right now?
    . Then, is is King? Or Queen? :-)

    . I hate memes. It rhymes with lames :-0) except when you do it. Cuz I love you (swoon swoon)
    . [livejournal.com profile] turbillion whom I also love went to see 3 Changes and wrote a scathing review re: it. I trust him. Plus, I'm not a big fan of anyone named Nicky and then Silver or Gold afterwards. It's too gimmicky, don't you think? btw, I have a reading on Nov 12 here. It would be lovely if you could come down.
    . I have a king (bed), my queen :-) And no, I do not mean to imply I want to lure you into it.

    i am, though i've literally just started it (the queus of books was long). pic of junot diaz and my pal grant here (http://bix02138.livejournal.com/332069.html); he's very engaging up close and a very entertaining speaker.

    excellent list -- and so many plays! I love to read 'em. You'd like Paula Vogel, if she isn't already on the list or already digested...
    Perrotta is the American Balzac as far as I'm concerned.

    paula vogel goes on the list, thanks!

    i may have lost my mind by reading durang and silver at the same time; bookending that experiment was a production of sister mary ignatius explains it all for you in august and an upcoming emerson stage production of pterodactyls.

    i got through the abstinence teacher in three nights, and enjoyed it. i had the pleasure of working with tom in a couple of workshops here at w.g.u.™, and not only is his work really delightful but he's a great person. i am very, very happy for his success.
