Date: 2008-10-31 03:42 pm (UTC)i actually prefer the alternate, too, but the background issues make it feel less successfully polished.
i was so completely taken with this sculpture that i made maybe eight captures.
the thing about artificial (nature) is that it's not a naturally-occurring landscape in moscow. the hill in the background and the sky are the native elements.

That background knowledge brings a lot more to the photo; without it it remains a stunning photo, nonetheless.
